I like to think of myself as not being one, but many, a legion. I am the millions of restless microorganisms that inhabit me; the wandering water of the primitive ocean that now flows in this body; the rocks that mineralize in my bones before becoming tectonic again when I am underground; and the sun that feeds the plants that feed me.

Within me coexist a permaculturist, a regenerator, a jack-of-all-trades in farm and household work, a husband, a father, a son, a student, a teacher. I am "a man without war and without glory, a nameless craftsman, a happy animal."

I enjoy reading and writing a lot, I love both photography and a good conversation, and when I have the opportunity, I like to walk alone and in silence, in the midst of dense vegetation, to meditate and feel embraced by the natural environment.

Although I studied social communication and anthropology as a university student; now I am interested in various topics on which I research independently.

Anyone who saw me today in the middle of the orchard, in work clothes, would find it strange to know that there was a time when I wore a suit and tie, when I lived on diplomas. This is how I stayed for many years, while I was working on projects on international migration for the Colombian Foreign Ministry, the International Organization for Migration, the French Development Research Institute and Colciencias.

Then I got tired of working on contract and together with my wife we became entrepreneurs with a project to which we have been working for years. Then, with the whole family, we moved to look for another life in the countryside and we started a transition project in Casa el Ocobo.
